  My sobriety would have to be the best thing that ever happened to me and my family. I was an alcoholic and it made me the worst mom ever. Every time I drank I would black out and it would take away from my time with my kids. I'm not going to lie, I had no sense of responsibility whenever I drank. I finally checked into rehab to change my ways. I went through a medical detox and lots of counseling to cope with my addiction until it finally went away. I left a sober person and I'm working on being a better mom to my kids.
